UK trio FRIENDLY FIRES have released the second track featured on their new vinyl release 'Before Your Eyes'. Only a few weeks ago the boys ended their two year absence by releasing the title track on SoundCloud.
This followed a remix of their track 'Hurting' as well as a vocal collaboration with DISCLOSURE but now we have a new offering to enjoy.
'Before Your Eyes' and 'Velo' were recorded collaboratively between FRIENDLY FIRES and British electronic duo THE ASPHODELLS. The former was a seven-minute psychedelia trip that has wonderfully distorted vocals from FRIENDLY FIRES' Ed Macfarlane echoing throughout. The latter has a slightly different feel to it as it reaches back into the band's signature territory whilst also incorporating a few more far-out elements.
'Velo' and 'Before Your Eyes' will be released through Telophase on March 31, get your hands on the vinyl.
