Album Review: Cull - Ba noi

The roughly twenty-year cycle in musical fashion is in play as Cull make guitars stretch in the manner that had serious young men – and yes, it was almost always young men – moodily study their strings, shoelaces, copious pedal rack and nearby floor materials, as the music arced and entwined with itself. World Inside Your Head is an apt song title, with Seekae's Alex Cameron on vocals adding further indie appeal. To mix it up slightly, The Sacred Burial Urn and Animate have some more angles and dissonances to them, to show they're not entirely of another time.
