Weeks after British EDM star Four Tet – aka Kieran Hebden – announced his return to Sydney, Melbourne is set to join in the fun.
Four Tet will headline the inaugural Freeform Festival in the heart of the city. Taking place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday, 10 October, Four Tet will be joined by Floating Points, Skee Mask—making his Australian debut—Atsuo The Pineapple Donkey, INVT, and DARWIN.
Elsewhere, the festival has locked in local talent with DJ Jnett, Yikes, Yarra, Chuleo Club, and Jono Ma.
Freeform has been described as “a new outdoor festival celebrating sound without borders and connection without limits,” bringing together international trailblazers and local up-and-coming artists for an epic sonic adventure that spans from sunlight to starlight.
