"Riffs on fatherhood and masturbation helped make the set more relatable to the wider gathering."

Brian Posehn once joked on a comedy album that he hasn't written a segue in many years.

However, said haphazard yet seasoned delivery proved endearing as the towering, Black Sabbath shirt-sporting US comic began by lampooning the Hulk Hogan racism scandal before flitting between assorted topics. There was a brief, thinly veiled political reference, but that evidently wasn't what the majority of his fanbase sought during the 70-minute performance. Dissecting life-long obsessions with Star Wars and heavy metal remained popular themes within his act. Posehn's self-deprecating style elicited plenty of laughs, riffs on fatherhood and masturbation helping make the set more relatable to the wider gathering.
