Oasis’ manager has let fans down easy, confirming that while the British outfit will embark on a reunion tour this year, a new album isn’t currently on the cards.
In a new interview with Music Week, the band’s co-manager Alex McKinlay said the forthcoming Live ’25 tour marks “the last time around” for Liam and Noel Gallagher.
“This is very much the last time around, as Noel’s made clear in the press,” McKinlay said. “It’s a chance for fans who haven’t seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. But no, there’s no plan for any new music.”
Touching on the incredible demand for the Live ’25 tour, which saw ten million fans from 158 countries trying to purchase tickets to the band’s UK and Irish dates, McKinlay discussed being “bowled over” by the international response to Oasis’ reunion.
Oasis will tour Australia in October and November for the first time in nearly 20 years.
“Probably the biggest and most pleasing surprise of the reunion announcement is how huge it was internationally,” McKinlay shared. “Honestly, we knew it would be big here, and that doesn’t take much intuition.”

McKinlay added, “But looking outside the UK, we knew they had a strong fanbase, we did all the stats. We were quite cautious about what that would mean when it came to people actually buying tickets, but we were just bowled over by how huge it was.
“We could have sold out half a dozen Rose Bowls in Pasadena and probably eight MetLife stadiums in New York in a day. We saw the ticket stats; we were watching what was happening, and the demand was way beyond our expectations.”
Oasis have sold out four nights in Australia for their upcoming shows, with their third and final show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on its last tickets. Brisbane indie rock band Ball Park Music will open for Oasis in Australia.
Ball Park Music said of the epic news, “Can hardly believe I’m typing this, but it’s true, we’ll be supporting the Mancunian legends, the one and only, Oasis on their historic reunion tour when they visit Australia this year. To say we’re pumped is a massive fucking understatement. We. Can. Not. Wait. Let’s fucking get it!”
