Melbourne 15-piece Dorsal Fins have landed triple j’s Feature Album next week for their debut full length Mind Renovation.
The recent Remote Control signing are given the honour ahead of American outfit The Districts, who receive an album packet for their record A Flourish & A Spoil.
Elsewhere there are seven other local artists with tracks to be added to the station. Unsurprisingly Pedestrian At Best, the first single from Courtney Barnett’s album, has been picked up as has Daniel Johns’ comeback single Aerial Love.
There are two artists who have been plucked from the triple j Unearthed ranks and granted full rotation (or they’ve been upgraded from spot play), with Melbourne’s Rolling Blackouts’ Clean Slate and Canberra/Seattle’s Vallis Alps with Young.

There will be spot additions for Melbourne rock duo Dark Fair’s Listen Up, and Falcona-managed Gold Coast artist Paces with Nothing’s Forever (which features Perth’s KUCKA). Sydney’s Porsches have their track Horses, which has attracted solid online play in the past two months, added.
