American pop-rock band Train are returning to Australia and New Zealand in 2025 for a massive arena tour.

Their first tour down under in eight years, the tour is set to begin at Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Sunday, 18 May, followed by Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Tuesday, 20 May, Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Thursday, 22 May, Sydney’s ICC Sydney Theatre on Saturday, 24 May, Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday, 25 May, and wraps up at Auckland’s Great Hall on Wednesday, 28 May.

For the Australian shows, Train will be joined by special guests, Scottish star KT Tunstall (known for her hit, Suddenly I See) and Jason Wade of Lifehouse fame.

Keen fans can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 11 December, at 10 am local time. Register here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Friday, 13 December, at 11 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.

Reviewing the band for AllMusic, Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote: “Train makes maximalist pop music, the kind designed to be heard and sold at big-box stores, a sensibility that's rare in 2022, which is why AM Gold delivers a very particular kind of retro good times.”

Train last toured Australia in 2017. Reviewing the band’s show at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, The Music’s Michael Prebeg said as they approached the end of their hit-filled set, “A surprise cover of Queen and David Bowie’s classic Under Pressure is a welcome addition to the set before Train reach the end of the line with Drops Of Jupiter.”
