Aussie rockers Thirsty Merc are hitting the road throughout the rest of this year and in 2025, announcing their 21-date Electric Summer national tour this week.
A few months after the band were announced as one of the first line-up release at this year’s Airlie Beach Music Festival alongside Sweet and Pseudo Echo, it turns out that playing some festivals and one-off gigs in 2024 wasn’t enough.
The Electric Summer tour begins on Friday, 19 November, and sees Thirsty Merc touring in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Kellyville, Belmont, Guildford, Fremantle, North Perth, Melbourne, Geelong, Castlemaine, Glengarry, Adelaide, Coolangatta, Ballina, Elizabeth Beach, Laurieton, Yamba, Dodges Fort, Devonport, and wraps up in Longley, Tasmania, on Sunday, 12 January.
Sharing the festival announcement on Instagram, the band wrote, “Our massive 21 date ‘Electric Summer Tour’ is now on sale. Great gigs and hot nights are made for each other! Book Tickets Now at thirstymerc.com”.
You can find all the dates and venues below.
Thirsty Merc independently released their fifth studio album – a collection of covers titled Celebration – in June 2022.
