'There Are So Many Bands Who Should Get Sued': The Killers Frontman on Blurred Lines Trial

Brandon Flowers talks the trial and a new album

More The Killers The Killers

Just days after we reported that US artists Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke are seeking an appeal to reopen the Blurred Lines trial that saw them found guilty of copying the 2013 hit song from Marvin Gaye's 1977 classic, Got To Give It Up, another musician has thrown his opinion in the mix.

In an interview with NME this week, The Killers frontman, Brandon Flowers said he agreed "150 percent" with the ruling, adding there: "are so many bands who should get sued".

"I'm so sick of hearing people steal. I hate it. I hear it all the time, but I'm not gonna tell you which bands. I won't because I don't wanna start a whole thing."

Flowers who will release his second solo studio album, The Desired Effect on May 18, revealed that the Las Vegas four-piece will indeed commence work on a new album, candidly saying that their last album in 2012, Battle Born, "wasn't good enough" and "we all know it".

Ironically, it was named by Rolling Stone as the second best album of 2012 in the Reader's Poll.

Flowers went on to say: "Once [the band] all get on the same page, it'll work".

"I need to persuade them to like the same things as I do." he cheekily added.
