The Ultimate Guide To BIGSOUND 2013

Are you ready for this?

The Australian music industry favourite industry conference and showcase (read: knee's up) is almost upon us, with the first day of this year's BIGSOUND set to take kick off with the inaugural Music+Design section tomorrow.

From there Wednesday and Thursday will be filled with panels and keynotes, dissecting the present and future of the industry, while punters will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the industry hoards come sunset for the two-night massive BIGSOUND Live program.

Proudly the major media partner, theMusic.com.au and The Music are currently preparing for the onslaught in our Brisbane office (as our interstate staffers pack their bags and polish business cards). We'll be on the ground from tomorrow, covering the panels, speaking to the people who matter, seeing as many bands as humanely possible (we should get to most of the 150+ acts…) and hanging around to try and overhear deal negotiations.

We've been busy in the lead-up to the conference as well though, so here's some of the existing BIGSOUND coverage to get your in the mood.
