Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?:Damn Terran are always a lot of fun. Looking forward to hearing some of the new stuff. That front guy is a bit cracky, but really good. I think he's that guy from shihad's son?

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Billy Bragg.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: Alhambra Lounge on Wednesday, Rics early on Thursday, then just have a stumble.

SLIP ON STEREO

Name: Mark Bretheton.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: We are most looking forward to seeing Natt Dunn. She has an amazing voice and we love her work.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Michael Chugg. Someone who has been around music in Australia and we have a lot to learn from people like him.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: We will be trying to get to as many venues as we can to soak up BIGSOUND.

TWIN BEASTS

Name: Giuliano Ferla.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: Too many. Grizzly Jim Lawrie, Jess Ribeiro and the Bone Collectors, Tkay Maidza sounds cool. I'm going to go exploring.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Gurrumul, definately.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: The Zoo or Electric Playground or Alhambra Lounge. Everywhere.

WILLOW BEATS

Name: Narayana Johnson.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: Dune Rats. We saw the start of their set at Circo but we played straight after them and had to go back stage. The start was so wild it left us hungry for more.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Actually our manager stole our conference pass! We'll just be there for the live music and networking.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: We're playing at Alhambra on the 11th and at the IN THE MIX (the Rev) on the 12th at 8.50pm.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: She Rex, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Citizen Kay, Arts Martial, Club Feet, & Jackie Onassis.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Nick Cave & Billy Bragg.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: You can shout me a beer at the Black Bear Lodge after my show if you like.

MAMA KIN

Name: Danielle Caruana.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: Spender, Jess Ribeiro & the Bone Collectors and Way of the Eagle. But I'm also hoping to find a few surprises too.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Nick Cave's keynote address with Julia Zemiro is sure to be entertaining.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: The Bakery Lane venue where we're showacasing will be great for the spring time, Brissy nights. See you there Brisvegans.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: I'm pretty excited to see Bed Wettin' Bad Boys, King Gizzard are always good and I wanna see Zeahorse again too! I haven't seen them in years!

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: I probably won't go to any of those things.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: Melbourne Ska Orchestra.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Amanda Palmer's keynote address.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: Bakery Lane, Wednesday night, watching the acts leading to our showcase - Mama Kin, Billy Bragg, Busby Marou - then us!

GRIZZLY JIM LAWRIE

Name: Jim Lawrie.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: Looking forward to finally catching The Trouble With Templeton live. Also, The Sinking Teeth, Bleeding Knees Club, and would love to check out Elizabeth Rose and Citizen Kay.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Indie Labels 2013 Style. Good people discussing the ins and outs of indie labels sounds pretty appealing to me.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: The Press Club post gig or probably wandering around the Valley heading to the next gig on offer.

GLASS TOWERS

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: Publishing & Sync - Creative New Landscapes.

Where can we catch you for a drink?: I would say at every venue over the two Days of BIGSOUND Live. Or... the Glass Bar post conference sessions.

Which act are you most excited to see at BIGSOUND (outside of your own showcase)?: I have been hearing a lot of hype around The Sinking Teeth & Kingswood at the moment, so I'm keen to check out their sets. Also, I have to go see Billy Bragg.

What's the one panel or conference you need to see?: International - Sharing International Australian Music Experiences. Because you always have to think bigger and better all the time.
