BIGSOUND Reveal Final Music+Design Program

And announce two special design showcases

The final lot have names for the BIGSOUND Music+Design event have been revealed, along with two special design showcases that will take place at the conference.

Joining the likes of already announced speakers including Nick Cave and Regurgitator, will be the following:

Ianto Ware (Sounds Australia), Patience Hodgson (The Grates), Leanne de Souza (Artist Manager), Stephen Lance (Director), Mairi Cameron (Director), Joe Hayes (Acoustics 3D), Dave Thompson (Audiofly), Matt Davis (namethemachine), Sophia Watson (DQ), Tanja Hall (JOLT), Craig Mounsey (CMD), Andrew McMillen (Journalist), Christian Duell (APDL), Nathanael Cooper (The Courier Mail), Matt Shea (Journalist), Michelle Fahd (Music Manager), Caroline Stalker (Architectus)

Music+Design will address the importance of design in relation to music and 2013 marks the first time this event will take place at the conference.

The two design showcases that have been announced are the CMD Live Design Lab and and Artisan Beer+Design. The first will see a range of designers within the industry come together to work on concepts and hold discussions on ground at a purpose built facility at BIGSOUND. The lab runs from 10am-4pm from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 September.

The latter showcase will display music, deisgn and crafted beer from some of our brightest designers to the public in a pop up lounge type space, which will be located in the carpark of the Artisan Gallery, across the road from the BIGSOUND event. This will be open from 2-8pm from Wednesday 11 to Thursday September.
