While the Ed Sheeran juggernaut continues
Sydney qunitet The Preatures have debuted in the ARIA Albums Chart top five with their first full-length album Blue Planet Eyes.
The indie-pop outfit scored fourth place in the chart, and while impressive, they couldn't stop the, as predicted, juggernaut that is Ed Sheeran, whose most recent album x pushed its way back into first this week, no doubt thanks to his visit for the AFL Grand Final. The Englishman edged out last week's number one, veteran Barbara Streisand and Partners, which landed at two. Sheeran also had his first album + move back into the top 20, at 18.
The soundtrack to Disney phenom Frozen pushed back into third this week, while Aussie darling Missy Higgins stayed strong at five with her covers record Oz. Iconic singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen scored the next highest debut of the week — his new LP Popular Problems came in at six.
Another music legend, the incomparable Prince, had both his new releases debut in the top 40. His solo album Art Official Age charted at 15, while his other new collection under the banner of Prince & 3RDEYEGIRL — PLECTRUMELECTRUM, landed at 33.

Boy band wonders One Direction scored the highest single debut this week — their new track Steal My Girl entered in at 15, while Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea's controversial collaboration Booty debuted at 27.
