The Living End continue to deliver with the rollout of their first album in eight years, I Only Trust Rock n Roll.
To celebrate the impending release, the band are inviting fans to attend three intimate Q&A sessions and signings, where you can finally ask all your burning questions.
I Only Trust Rock n Roll will be released on Friday, 26 September, via BMG. The Q&A events coincide with the album’s release, taking place at Melbourne’s The Bendigo on Sunday, 28 September, Brisbane’s Lefty’s Music Hall on Tuesday, 30 September, and Sydney’s Marrickville Bowling Club on Wednesday, 1 October.
The Melbourne event begins at 2 pm, while the Brisbane and Sydney events, taking place on weeknights, start at 7 pm.
Accompanying the news is the drop of a new single from the album, Misery, out today.

“Misery is like a big sigh of relief. It’s about kicking bad habits, shedding negativity and toxic people,” frontman Chris Cheney explained.
He added, “That realisation and uplifting feeling of turning your life around and choosing a positive path to walk. I’ve made my fair share of questionable decisions, which have derailed me, but like most people, I’m still making mistakes and learning every day. That’s life.
“The bit that becomes clearer as you get older is that life is just too damn short to spend it being miserable. Musically, the main riff of this song was the very first thing I wrote for this album and set the template for the kind of feel and energy we wanted the whole record to have.”

In November and December, The Living End will take I Only Trust Rock n Roll on the road, with sold-out shows in Brisbane and Adelaide, and shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.
The Living End will play two sets on the upcoming run: the first will see them perform tracks from I Only Trust Rock n Roll and hits from across their discography, while the second will feature their self-titled debut album performed in its entirety.
For their Live At The Gardens show in Melbourne, the band will be joined by special guests Private Function and The Prize.
