More Foo Fighters More Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters have surprised fans this week with a new live album, shared exclusively on Bandcamp.

With six tracks recorded at the band’s recent shows, Foo Fighters – Are Playing Where ??? Vol. 1, has been released in support of this week’s Bandcamp Friday, where the service semi-regularly waives fees in support of artists.

The track list features beloved songs from across the band’s discography, including hits and deep cuts. The songs are Alone + Easy Target, Exhausted, Watershed, Weenie Beenie, White Limo, and Winnebago.

Available to fans as a “pay what you want” release, all proceeds from the album purchases will support local charities that help people with food insecurity across four American cities where the band recently performed (San Luis Obispo, Santa Ana, Washington, and New Haven).

“It's Bandcamp Friday!!! To celebrate, Foo Fighters Are Playing Where??? Vol. 1 is out now,” the band wrote on social media.

They added, “Six tracks recorded at recent 2025 shows.

Last month, Foo Fighters made their live debut with new drummer Ilan Rubin at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo, California.

Rubin made a sort of swap with Foo Fighters’ previous drummer, Josh Freese, who returned to Nine Inch Nails after Rubin played with the band for years.

Earlier this year, Foo Fighters shared two “new” songs with fans: a cover of Minor Threat’s I Don’t Wanna Hear It and an original number called Today’s Song, which commemorates the band’s 30th anniversary.

“Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak,” Dave Grohl posted at the time. “Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat. We have mended broken bones and broken hearts. But we have followed this road together, with each other, for each other, no matter what. Because in life, you just can’t go it alone.”
