Richard Clapton, Tim Rogers, Paul Dempsey and more.
One of the most significant rock'n'roll events of all time is being reborn this April at the iconic Sydney Opera House as a stellar cast of Australian performers get set to star in The Last Waltz Revisited.
Originally a dramatic send off for '70s roots rock group The Band, The Final Waltz was immortalised by film legend Martin Scorsese's documentary film, which showcased an array of big time industry players including Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Neil Young performing a variety of cult classics and well known hits.
This particular adaptation of the seminal event will feature a stacked line-up of Australian performers including singer-songwriter Richard Clapton,You Am I frontman Tim Rogers, Something For Kate's Paul Dempsey, as well as Kevin Borich, Olympia, Vika & Linda Bull and The RocKwiz Orchestra.
The Last Waltz Revisited was first performed by The RocKwiz team in Australia at Melbourne Arts Centre's State Theatre late last year to a sold out audience that awarded the cast with multiple standing ovations. This must see event will be held on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 April. Tickets are available from 9am on 15 February.
