The last of four specials!

The fourth and final Spicks & Specks special is confirmed to be airing next month.

Following the previous three specials which have aired sporadically since last year, the latest will air on Sunday 20 December at 7.40pm on ABC.

The episode will relive the music of the 2010s with host Adam Hills and team captains Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough to appear alongside Aussie musicians, musicians Kate Miller Heidke and Vance Joy, and comedians Claire Hooper and Luke McGregor.

The news comes after Hills revealed there are plans to bring Spicks & Specks for a new ten episode season.

"There was talk of doing a series of ten at some point this year, but then I had to juggle that around The Last Leg and the Paralympics. And now, the Paralympics have been cancelled as well, or postponed, so there's definitely a possibility [of more Spicks & Specks episodes]," Hills said when appearing on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast back in April.

"It also, again, comes down to whether or not you can still have people on a panel and people in the audience. If we ever go back to those days... Alan, Myf and I all want it to happen.

"It's just a matter of logistically pulling it together. But yeah, I think there could be some more."
