As Southbound gears up to host their 2016 event this December — rescheduled from last summer when they were affected by the WA bushfires — event organisers have announced the wild and wacky, the colourful and creative, as part of the festival's Commedia dell Southbound contingent.
This year's cabaret/comedy/circus wonderland will be curated by JumpClimb and Tomas Ford and will feature the likes of John Robertson, who will bring his video-game-meets-internet-viral-video show The Dark Room to the big top.
Hypnotist and DJ Matt Hale will present Clubnosis, Crap Music Rave Party will have you shaking your limbs to the worst of the worst (but the funnest of the funnest) and Les Sataniques will bring their burlesque/gogo good times. Get your giggles going with Comedians Vs Rappers, Mac The Comedy Computer and the inaugural Naked Race.
The arts program joins an already impressive line-up of musicians such as avant-garde super star Peaches, Tash Sultana, Drapht and more playing the three-day festival.
