Sony Music Australia Executive Fired Following Inappropriate Behaviour Allegations

"Dismissed with immediate effect.”

Sony Music Australia senior executive Tony Glover has been dismissed following inappropriate behaviour allegations.

As Sydney Morning Herald reports, the long-running staffer was fired from his position as vice president of commercial music last Thursday following an investigation that took place over numerous weeks.

The investigation alleges that Glover, who was at Sony for three decades, had bullied and harassed multiple staff members.

“Upon receiving complaints of alleged inappropriate behaviour, a Senior Counsel was immediately engaged to independently investigate the allegations,” a Sony Music Australia spokesperson told SMH.

“Following completion of the investigation, the company acted on the findings. Sony Music Australia can confirm that Tony Glover has been dismissed with immediate effect.”
