"Just two human beings, connected through a moment of pure joy, spreading moments of 'OH MY GOSH' euphoria across the globe millions of times over. I'm just mind blown."
Skrillex fans have been given a major blast from the past after the DJ reunited with Rachael Nedrow, aka the girl who he famously sampled on his 2010 breakthrough single Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.
ICYMI: The hugely popular track's drop used a sample from a video Nedrow posted in 2008 of herself speed stacking and celebrating her then-personal best of 7.00 seconds with the now-iconic, "Yes! Oh my gosh!"
Now, 12 years later, the pair have reunited following Skrillex's set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Apr 29, with Nedrow sharing the epic moment on Twitter with a side-by-side snap of herself and the EDM legend.
"April 29th. Wow. What an incredible evening. An electrifying 5-hour set at Red Rocks then reuniting on my 28th birthday after 12 years," Rachael wrote.

She added, "@skrillex man so great to see you again. I love your humility, how you break the mould, and the way you radiate passion and energy for what you do and towards every person around you. Stay unique, grounded, and full of love. I have a feeling this is just the beginning."

Fans were loving the special moment, with one commenting on the post, "I have to say I’m so happy to see that you guys keep in touch (: such a fan of this!"
Another added, "YES OMG, beautiful!"
Back in 2013, in an interview with The Duke Chronicle, Nedrow revealed that she had no idea that Skrillex had sampled her voice for the song until she was informed by friends who had heard the track.
“My friend sent me this YouTube video. I could just recognise my voice,” she recalled.
“It’s copied straight from the ‘Oh my gosh’ video, just copied straight from it. I could definitely hear it. He didn’t [ask permission], but we squared up last year. He ended up paying me a royalty. I wasn’t expecting that.”
The pairing was certainly a winning move, with Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites propelling Skrillex into the EDM scene and winning the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2012.
The track also peaked at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 that year and later earned a 2x Platinum certification.
