Brisbane indie-pop ensemble Sheppard have cracked the top 40 of the American charts with their debut album Bombs Away.

The LP, released in the States last week, is sitting at 31 in the Billboard 200 and is their highest position to date in the American charts. The album peaked at two in the ARIA Albums Chart after its release midway through last year.

Their massive single Geronimo has also gained momentum thanks to the album release, with the track hitting landing at 58 in the  Billboard Hot 100.

The band’s US success comes on the back of a number of recent talk show appearances and promos including a spot on the Today Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They are managed by Scooter Braun, whose roster includes Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson and are signed to the renowned Decca Records worldwide.
