More San Cisco San Cisco Profile

Perth indie-pop group San Cisco are officially announcing their return to the Australian music psyche next week with the release of Gracetown, an album that triple j have picked up as their Feature Album.

From next Monday the record will be flogged across the airwaves before its release Friday 6 March. Yesterday the band announced a national tour – presented by The Music – that will see them complete dates in and around their Groovin The Moo appearance.

There are six other local artists who will receive single-track adds to the influential youth station next week as well, including Sony’s electronic duo Carmada (a project by L D R U and Yahtzel). Their track On Fire, featuring Maribelle, has bee picked up by the station, as has Miami Horror’s newie Love Like Mine, featuring Cleopold.

Gold Coast based producer Mikey Perry, aka Paces, sees his Nothing’s Forever track, featuring Perth’s Kucka, added while Perth’s unsigned Tired Lion are plucked from the triple j Unearthed tracks with I Don’t Think You Like Me. One of the highlights of last year’s WAM Festival, the Jacob Snell-managed four-piece were signed to booking agency New World Artists directly after the conference.
