Tim Armstrong takes on a whole new role.
Reports have suggested in the last few weeks that Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the revived sci-fi TV series, The X-Files and the 50-year-old musician has today confirmed he will indeed star on the show next week.
Taking to Twitter to announce the news, Armstrong wrote, "Hello- you might not know this, but I'm gonna be on @TheXFiles next week Feb 8th, Episode 4."
It has been reported that the singer, who also features in rock-rap supergroup The Transplants, will star as 'The Trashman' in the episode titled 'Home Again'.
