The Presets Announce New Album, Headline Parklife

Just minutes after the Parklife announcement today, The Presets have announced that their new album Pacifica will be out in time for their headlining slots.

The band had teased a new album last week, with a mysterious website titled just Youth In Trouble. While initially we suspected this might be the announcement of the new album, with details to be announced Friday 29 June, we're now guessing that's the title of the first single, which may be released Friday 29.

Over four years since Apocalypso captured the ears of a nation, Pacifica itself will be released Friday 14 September through Modular.

The band will also release a limited edition deluxe version of the record, of which there will be just 1,500 copies worldwide. Along with the album on vinyl, CD and mp3 download formats, the edition will feature a hardcover book, numbered and signed by the band.
