Usher has cancelled his forthcoming Australian tour, according to a notice on Ticketek that was also emailed to ticketholders.
The OMG hitmaker was set to tour Australia this November and December for the first time in over a decade – his last headline tour Down Under was in 2011. However, he did headline RnB Fridays in 2018.
Dubbed the “Past Present Future” tour, Usher was scheduled to celebrate his illustrious 30-year career. His Past Present Future tour contains a whopping 47 songs, including hits like Yeah!, U Got It Bad, Burn, Confessions, Love In This Club, and many more, alongside tracks from his latest album, COMING HOME, which was released this year via mega/gamma.
Usher was booked to perform for six nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena between 19 and 26 November, and six shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena between 1 and 11 December.
At the time of publication, no explanation has been provided as to why Usher’s Australian tour will no longer go ahead. Neither Usher nor his team have released a statement about the tour.
