'A Rude Awakening'.
Sydney act The Allniters are considered the pioneers of Australian ska after they introduced the unique new style of music to the country in the '80s and the band are now telling their story in the form of a new documentary.
The film entitled A Rude Awakening will give fans an insight into the ten-piece group's inception in 1980 and how they went on to become one of the "most misunderstood acts in the Australian music industry."
Their legacy still lives on to this day and as recently as 2013, The Allniters cover of Bobby Bloom's Montego Bay was voted as one of the top 100 songs in Australia.
After disbanding twice within twenty years, the new documentary delves into what really went on, which includes live performances and rare footage.
