Boutique booking agency and tour promoters Bizarro have revealed the line-ups for three beloved electronic festivals taking place this year: Overtone, Freeform, and Mode.
The events take over iconic sites on the Gold Coast/Kombumerri, Melbourne/Naarm, and Sydney/Eora this October. The festivals share the headliners Barry Can’t Swim (DJ Set), Interplanetary Criminal, and Richie Hawtin, while Mall Grab also headlines at Overtone. Other performers include Memphis LK, Bella Claxton, Two Shell, Harry Hayes, and many others.
Each line-up contains the same DNA: celebrating electronic music from Australia and abroad, with dancefloors set alight day-to-night. While the festivals share headliners, the remaining line-ups are curated for audiences in each city.

Overtone channels a rave-inspired aesthetic as it takes over Musgrave Park on Friday, 2 October. Freeform, delivering its largest line-up to date, takes place on four stages across Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday, 3 October.

At Cockatoo Island/Wareamah, Mode Festival will host a “multi-dimensional” celebration of cutting-edge, electronic music and design on Sunday, 4 October – on the NSW Labour Day long weekend.
Early access tickets to all festivals will be available on Wednesday, 10 June – from 10 am AEST for Mode, 11 am AEST for Freeform, and 12 pm AEST for Overtone.
