Ocean Alley have joined the Saturday line-up for this year’s VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series, bringing their soulful brand of psychedelic rock to the stage this November.

With their addition to the line-up, the Saturday (16 November) now includes Crowded House, Ocean Alley, and Meg Mac. On Sunday, 17 November, Cold Chisel will perform with support from The Cruel Sea and The Superjesus. Both shows will star Music SA artists opening the proceedings.

This year’s VAILO Adelaide 500 takes place from 14 to 17 November. General admission tickets to the event are on sale now via Ticketmaster, and tickets for seats in the grandstands will be available soon. You can find more ticketing information here.

In a statement, the Event and Concert Manager of the VAILO Adelaide 500, Brian Gleeson OAM, said: “The After Race Concert Series is set to fire on all cylinders, with an impressive line-up on offer across the weekend.

“We’re excited to extend Saturday’s music offering to include an internationally renowned and home-grown act in Ocean Alley and can’t wait to see the boys energise our fans alongside headliner Crowded House.

"Having performed to sold-out crowds across the globe and at an impressive list of major festivals, including Reading & Leeds (UK), Sziget (HU), BottleRock (US) and Ottawa Bluesfest (CAN), Saturday’s After Race Concert Series will be an event not to be missed for our motorsport and music fans alike.”

Crowded House filled the gaping Adelaide-sized hole in their November/December touring schedule upon announcing their headline event at the race in May. Cold Chisel are also touring across the country later this year, with demand leading to the band dropping extra tour dates. At the time of writing, Cold Chisel will play 23 shows in Australia from October to December.

This October, Ocean Alley will perform in Melbourne and Brisbane as part of this year’s massive Ability Fest line-up alongside Cub Sport, Middle Kids, ONEFOUR, Eves Karydas, King Stingray, and more.
