Leviathan Of The Sea release EP
Perth, Australia's Leviathan Of The Sea has released its new, freely available self-titled EP via http://leviathanofthesea.com. Led by Matthew Leonard Rowe (formerly of Anime Fire), LOTS is as much a solo musical endeavour as it is a provocative philosophical platform. Taking issue with the modern music industry, the lack of serious subject matter in heavy music (and the way it is typically produced) along with the rising attack on Science and Reason, LOTS is nothing short of a brutal 'push back' against complacency. Combining the down tuned heaviness of Roots-era Sepultura and the emotive, technical proficiency of New American Gospel-era Lamb of God, LOTS self-titled 5 song EP is hard hitting and uncompromising. Produced by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick of it All, August Burns Red), the EP is a return to form with regards to recording. There's no sound replacement, no beat locking, no programming- nothing done to change the sounds that were created live off of the floor. Featurin...

The Frontier Touring Company are rapt to confirm Foo Fighters' nationwide stadium tour this summer with special guests Tenacious D will now feature additional support - in the form of hardcore punk ensemble Fucked Up. The Canadian band have been tearing up stages all around the globe for nearly a decade and their live shows are known to explode with pure, unadulterated mayhem, as affirmed by media who have witnessed their incomparable live experience: "It's easy to see why Fucked Up's singer, Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham, has become as close to a superstar as a punk can without joining Green Day." - GUARDIAN.CO.UK "While their singer creates the spectacle, the five other players in Fucked Up are onstage showing off the band's impressive tightness...Fucked Up have evolved from a hardcore punk band in every aspect except ethos; the band's set is a high-mark of intensity and energy that the tiny crowd appreciate greatly." - RAVE MAGAZINE With their third studio album David Comes To L...

Dead Icons sign with Bullet Tooth Records
Bullet Tooth is excited to announce the worldwide signing of Dead Icons. Dead Icons is a hardcore band from Lexington, Kentucky and has been a band for about two and a half years. They weren't from a prominent city in the hardcore scene, didn't have a friend in a popular hardcore band, or have any members of any past notable bands. So instead of giving up, they set out to achieve their goals by sheer hard work and continuing to push through when times got tough and most bands would back out. The band started from members of several local bands who shared the same dream of being able to tour, and at the end of 2008 they decided to pursue their dream and released a six song demo. Shortly after this, and after a few of the members either graduated high school or dropped everything they were doing, the band completed a self booked full U.S. tour. A few months after the demo came out, Dead Icons put out five songs on a split CD with a band called Unrestrained (VT). After the release of t...
