Most Played Indigenous Songs On Australian Radio This Year Revealed

The top 20 most played Indigenous songs on Australian radio for 2020 so far has been revealed. 

The list, compliled by the National Indigenous Radio Chart, has confirmed that Baker Boy's Move has topped the list with support across the country from commercial, alternative and community radio.

Also featured in the top 20 includes three tracks from Jessica Mauboy and 16-year-old rapper The Kid LAROI (who dominated global charts this past weekend with his debut album) and two songs from Tia Gostelow.

The list has been released ahead of this Saturday's National Indigenous Music Awards which will be live-streamed from 7pm AEST on NITV, Double J, National Indigenous Radio Service, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Baker Boy leads this weekend's nominations and is up for Artist Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Film Clip Of The Year (Meditjin feat. Jess B), while Miiesha, who released her incredible debut album Nyaaringu earlier this year, has also scored a string of nominations including Album Of The Year, Film Clip Of The Year (Drowning) and New Talent Talent Of The Year.
