Australia's largest free music festival - the St Kilda Festival - has announced its 2013 lineup with a great eclectic group of homegrown acts to whet the appetite, headlined by the electropop Midnight Juggernauts, charismatic rockers Bluejuice and songstress Thelma Plum.

Moving into its 33rd year, next year's lineup sees nine days of arts and culture, with 150 artists featuring across seven stages over 40 plus venues – entertainment which festival producers believe will cater for more than 400,000 families and music fans.

The festival's full lineup will be announced next month, but we can bring you a few additions, with names dropped for the outdoor indigenous festival Yalukit Wilum Ngargee: People Place Gathering, a few acts confirmed for the Live N Local throughout the week, as well as the headlining Festival Sunday.

Sunday, 10 February – Festival Sunday – Midnight Juggernauts, Bluejuice, Thelma Plum, Client Liason, Kylie Auldist.
From Saturday, 2 February to Sunday, 10 February -  Live N Local - The Scarlets, Suzie Stapleton, Better Than The Wizards, and more.

On top of the week's worth of music, kids will be kept happy and entertained with Humphrey B Bear  making an appearance at Festival Sunday Funzone, as well as guided tours of the historic Esplanade Vaults.
