“Our show is nothing but love and positivity yet I always get treated like a criminal for being unpredictable.”
Laneway performer Silicon, aka Kody Nielson, has been kicked off the tour following an incident on stage in Adelaide yesterday where he reportedly kissed a police officer’s gun.
As theMusic.com.au’s Ben E Webb witnessed, Nielson – who is the brother of Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Ruban Nielson - kissed a hand gun attached to a police officer’s belt, which is illegal.
Nielsen then took to Twitter to break the news he had been removed from the rest of the tour.
“I just got kicked out of Laneway and fined for kissing a cops gun during our set. Your guns are useless. Peace!” he said.
