Laneway Festival Releases Limited, Final Tickets For Sydney & Melbourne Dates

Months after tickets to the Sydney and Melbourne legs of Laneway Festival sold out—in under an hour, mind you—organisers have announced that a limited release of tickets will be made available this week.

A limited number of tickets will be released this Wednesday, 14 January, from 9 am local time, as the final production holds have been made available for sale.

The tickets are expected to disappear quickly—fans registered to Laneway Festival’s official waitlist will receive first access to the tickets, ahead of the public on-sale. This year marks the 21st anniversary of Laneway Festival, and to celebrate, the beloved travelling event has locked in a sublime line-up of the hottest pop, rock, indie, and electronic voices.

Headlining the 2026 edition of the festival is the giver herself, Chappell Roan, who will showcase a 90-minute set complete with her “iconic gothic fairytale production.” Organisers have also locked in an abundance of Laneway-exclusive acts, such as Wolf Alice, Role Model, Wet Leg, PinkPantheress, and a collaborative performance from Yung Lean & Bladee.

The festival has also confirmed appearances from the buzzy rock act Geese, fan favourites including Lucy Dacus, Alex G, BENEE, Cavetown, Mt. Joy, and The Dare, plus rising stars Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, Wisp, and Gigi Perez.

Representing Australia at this year’s festival are the likes of Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty, The Belair Lip Bombs, Armlock, and Djanaba, as well as the recently announced triple j Unearthed winners added on the Australian dates.
