Chappell Roan Leads Massive 2026 Laneway Festival Line-up

After a week of teasing, Laneway Festival has dropped its highly anticipated line-up for its 2026 events.

Taking place from 5 February to 15 February, Laneway 2026 will stop in Australia and New Zealand. Next year’s bill features 35% more artists, will bring a brand-new East Coast stage, and contains a third of the line-up making their Australian debut.

Leading the charge is American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan, who will make her Laneway debut in Australia and New Zealand—her headline status also marks her first-ever national tour of Australia.

According to a press release, the Good Luck, Babe! singer will bring her “gothic fairytale production” Down Under for a “90-minute spectacle,” a Laneway exclusive.

Other Laneway Festival exclusives include the return of Mercury Prize-winning band Wolf Alice, plus Role Model, internet sensation PinkPantheress, indie rock band Wet Leg, and the rare collaborative performance of Yung Lean & Bladee.

In addition to the acts mentioned above, Laneway has locked in indie storyteller Lucy Dacus, cult hero Alex G, New Zealand’s own BENEE, bedroom-pop star Cavetown, folk-psych outfit Mt. Joy, dancefloor starter The Dare, plus rising voices such as Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, Geese, Wisp, and Gigi Perez.

Representing Australia at this year’s Laneway are a diverse list of rock, pop, and hip-hop acts, including Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty, Armlock, The Belair Lip Bombs, and Djanaba.

The Laneway Festival pre-sale will be available on Tuesday, 23 September, with staggered release times across each city. The general sale opens on Wednesday, 24 September, from 10 am AEST.
