And she's got some big news of her own too...
Kira Puru is currently making her way around Australia as part of Peking Duk's Biggest. Tour. Ever... So Far and she's given us a sneak peek backstage with this tour diary.
It's already been a huge year for Puru and it's set to get bigger with news of a headline tour dropping today. Puru will kick off the Everything Is Better Without You headline tour at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory in late June before heading to Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra.
Check out Puru's Peking Duk tour diary below and head to theGuide for all the info on dates and locations for her upcoming tour.

Chris Sebastian is a legend, born storyteller and funny as fuck. On this tour alone, he has given me at least three really good tips for touring life and performing better in the studio. A very underestimated, savage player in local pop music, IMO.
Jaytee (jayteehazard) is such a funny person to tour with. It's like touring with your bestie, hubby and cranky grandad, wrapped up in one hilarious package. He's very reliable and has a very dark sense of humour... All this and the fact he's lowkey the best DJ in Australia *shrug emoji*

Peking Duk's Production Manager Claire and her right hand man Matt of Colourblind Productions. Anyone who has seen the spectacle a Peking Duk show can attest to what an incredible skill and attention to detail is always present. These guys literally make magic happen.
Reuben [Styles, Peking Duk]
The boys have a tradition of shooting Fernet before a show. It's a weird liquor that tastes like straight up medicine. I just Googled it and the internet describes it as an "aggressive melange of spices". This is correct to my tastes but I still partake as I am a woman of tradition ;)
During the show, I jump up with the boys for a version of Blur's Song 2. Adam had some hot and cold nights with the riff but this night, he absolutely fucking nailed it so I whipped my camera out on stage and snapped a pic.
