The fifteenth album from Aussie rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard has soared into the ARIA Albums chart to claim the week’s highest debut.

Infest The Rats' Nest, the band’s second LP this year, shot straight to #2, surpassing April’s Fishing For Fishies, which peaked at #4.

With Infest The Rats' Nest sitting just behind Ed Sheeran’s No.6 Collaborations Project at #2, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard now have seven top 10 albums under their belt.

Heavy music reigns supreme in the top five, with last week’s chart-toppers Slipknot shifting to #3 with We Are Not Your Kind, while Killswitch Engage debut at #4 with Atonement.

Other notable Albums chart debuts this week come from the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood soundtrack (#14), Sleater-Kinney’s The Center Won't Hold (#34) and Press Club’s Wasted Energy (#64).
