Jack White Drops Surprise Australian Tour Dates For Next Month

Jack White was already heading to Australia next month to play a handful of shows in Victoria as part of ALWAYS LIVE, but today, he surprised everyone by announcing an additional run of shows for Australia and New Zealand.

Beginning the tour at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday, 5 December, the White Stripes icon then heads to Victoria for his sold-out ALWAYS LIVE shows—Ballarat’s Civic Hall on Friday, 6 December, and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday, 7 December.

After those shows, he’ll play another show in Melbourne, this time at the Forum on Monday, 9 December. White then heads to Hobart to perform at the Odeon Theatre on Wednesday, 11 December, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 13 December. He’ll wrap up the tour in New Zealand, playing at Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday, 17 December.

Jack White is touring in support of his new album, No Name, which he surprise released via his record label, Third Man Records, in July.

Upon the initial release of the album, No Name was only available on vinyl in limited locations and packaged in a blank sleeve with the words “NO NAME” in the middle of the record.

Lucky record buyers received the album for free with any purchases they made at Third Man Records locations on 19 July. The album landed on streaming services on Friday, 2 August.

In November 2022, Jack White came to Australia for a one-off exclusive performance as a headliner of the inaugural Harvest Rock Festival in Adelaide.
