Some of the world’s biggest artists will descend on South Australia later this year as part of the inaugural Harvest Rock festival.
The major event from Secret Sounds, taking place from November 19-20 at Rymill & King Rodney Parks in Adelaide, has secured exclusive sets from Jack White and Kurt Vile, who will be joined by Crowded House, The Black Crowes, Tones & I, Khruangbin, Groove Armada, Courtney Barnett, Sam Fender, Hot Chip and more.
Jack White will headline day one, offering up solo hits and classics from The White Stripes in what will be his only Australian show for 2022, while Crowded House close the festival on day two.

The two-day event will also offer killer cuisine and “innovative” bars alongside art installations, with organisers emphasising that Harvest Rock is “just as much about the food as it is the music”.
Its Feastiville Stage, for example, will boast chefs and mixologists showcasing collaborations between some of Australia’s finest foodies, alongside talent from the musical bill.
Within the event, Little Harvest (“a mini festival in a festival”) will keep kids occupied and entertained.
“The inaugural Harvest Rock will bring both iconic and hot new international artists from around the world to downtown Adelaide, alongside an abundance of incredible talent from our own shores,” Secret Sounds co-CEO and Harvest Rock producer Jessica Ducrou said.
“Presenting South Australia’s best in show food and wine offerings including cellar door pop ups, a mash ups of chefs and musicians on our Feastiville Stage and Little Harvest for the kids, were excited to provide a festival with many different facets. We’re planning a good old fashioned get together - with great music, food and wine - so come experience Harvest Rock in all its glory.”
Events South Australia executive director Hitaf Rasheed added: “The inaugural Harvest Rock in the heart of our city – the country’s only UNESCO City of Music – is going to be something to experience.
“It is fantastic that the festival also highlights our state’s world-class food and beverage, which will attract foodies to sample some of our finest produce in a unique atmosphere. This announcement is another example of events in South Australia returning, bigger and better than ever, with Harvest Rock set to be a staple in festival-goers’ calendars for many years to come.”
