Jack Ladder Announces Album Launch Shows

Riding hot on the heels of their triumphant, much-talked-about appearance at last week's BIGSOUND Live showcase, Sydney-bred singer-songwriter Jack Ladder and his backing band The Dreamlanders have announced a pair of album launch shows for November, their first club appearances in three years.

The shows (their debut appearances as Select Music signees) coincide with the release and launch of the band's fourth studio full-length, Playmates, which drops the day of the first show — Friday, November 7, when the band play Melbourne's Northcote Social Club. They then head back home to Sydney for a follow-up launch gig at the Newtown Social Club on Thursday, November 13.

Brisbane got a special preview airing of some of the material at BIGSOUND, when a packed Black Bear Lodge showing resulted in Ladder's name being on many people's lips the next day, including the majority of industry heavyweights sitting on the next day's 20 Questions panel.
