EYE ON THE INDIE CHARTS...
There's been a couple of debuts in the top twenty of AIR's singles/EP charts for independent labels with independent distribution this week. Will Sparks (One Love/Xelon) had three entries, The Viking at number five, Chemical Energy at twelve and Phoenix at twenty. Big Scary also debuted, with Luck Now coming in at fourteen through (Pieater/independent).
Flume's Holdin On (Future Classic/Independent) retained the top spot once again.
There were four debuts in the top 20 albums released on independent labels through independent distribution this week too. C3 - Christian City Church Oxford Falls entered highest at ten with their release In Your Rhythm (independent). Ben Hazlewood's Loveless EP (Hazlewood Music/independent) came in at twelve, Jerricco's Beautiful In Danger (independent) at sixteen and Graeme Connors rounded out the twenty with Kindred Spirit (independent/WJO).
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds claimed the top spot with Push The Sky Away (Kobalt/independent) again after dropping to number two last week.
