More Hockey Dad More Hockey Dad

Fun-loving Wollongong duo Hockey Dad are less than a month out from ushering their debut studio full-length, Boronia, into the world, and the So Tired scribes are raring to share it with us all in the flesh, announcing a six-date tour run this September and October to commemorate the release.

The garage-rock luminaries will tear through the mainland state capitals over two massive weekends, getting under way at The Foundry, Brisbane, on Thursday 29 September, and knocking over performances in Melbourne, Wollongong (for the Yours & Owls festival), Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, where they end up at Jack Rabbit Slim's on Saturday 8 October. They'll be joined for all shows, except WA, by Horror My Friend.

Ahead of all of that, though, Hockey Dad are teasing out the pre-release period just a little more with the unveiling of sun-drenched new single Jump The Gun, which you can spin below to your heart's content.

Boronia will be released on Friday 12 August via Farmer & The Owl. It's available for pre-order now.
