“It is with a heavy heart that we need to postpone Groovin the Moo for the second year."

Groovin The Moo 2021 will not be going ahead.

Organisers Cattleyard Promotions have shared the news this morning saying that it is not possible for the much-loved regional festival to return in 2021 as previously thought.

“It is with a heavy heart that we need to postpone Groovin the Moo for the second year," said Cattleyard Promotions' Steve Halpin

"We’re really going to miss GTM and not being able to spend another year with our crews, artists, team members, suppliers and you!"

"We know it has been a very strange and tough time for everyone. We are so grateful to all of you who kept your GTM 2020 ticket - refund information will be sent out soon. We know it’s a big ask, but if you’re able to hold on to your ticket a bit longer, it will really help us in welcoming GTM back next year. Thank you to each and every one of you for sticking with us - we can’t wait to return in 2022."

The 2020 event was originally scheduled for April/May with organisers announcing its cancellation in March last year. Artists including Tones & I, Supergrass, Gang Of Youths, AJ Tracey, Dope Lemon, Kelis, WAAX, The Veronicas and more were due to appear at the festival across the country.

In addition to the Groovin The Moo news, Cattleyard Promotions have also announced the launch of a new festival series to take place throughout 2021.

Dubbed Fresh Produce, the regional concert events will be "a limited capacity show that has been purposefully created to exist within the ever-changing environment" and is partially funded by the RISE grant initiative.

It's set to visit Townsville, Bunbury, Maitland, Toowoomba, Glenorchy, Canberra, Bendigo and Wayville from August to October.

“Our team is very excited to be developing a new show that highlights the ripest pickings from multiple regions around the country," said Halpin.

"We can’t wait to feature all things fresh and support local communities in our familiar stomping grounds and our two new regional spots."

Additional details and line-up are expected to be announced soon; head to theGuide for more info about dates.
