Punk-rockers DFMK have lost all their equipment in a tour van fire in US
In the second — and hopefully final — instalment of a horrible running theme, another touring act's van has caught fire on the road in California, and the band in question, Mexico's DFMK, have sadly lost everything.
As reported last week, The Reverend Horton Heat (aka Jim Heath) suffered a similar fate when his touring bus burst into flames on a US interstate in California. However, in that event, Heath, his band and their equipment were unharmed in the blaze.
However, according to a statement released by DFMK's label, La Escalera Records, in the Mexican outfit's case, they lost the van, their equipment and all personal belongings on a tour that was to span the North American west coast from their home town of Tijuana, Mexico, to Seattle. After being plagued by several mechanical issues on the road, their van ultimately caught fire outside of Oakland, bringing their plans to a total halt.

"Some friends made this page so that everyone can support the band from the comfort of their computer! Please share if you can!"
