And a double vinyl to match

More Frenzal Rhomb More Frenzal Rhomb

Sydney punk rockers Frenzal Rhomb are raising their pints to a quarter of a century this year and they've planned a helluva party when they head out on tour this September.

Not only will the quartet be taking song requests on an expansive run of Australia later this year, they're dropping a fancy double vinyl Best Of album so you can commemorate all of the band's best songs on that record player you never use — this'll be called We Lived Like Kings; We Did Anything We Wanted with "all the hits … even a song from THAT album. You know the one".

The band have picked up numerous accolades during their 25 years and eight studio records. As the band so aptly state in their press release, "Turning 25 is the best. You've finished uni, married the opposite-sex partner of your dreams, and now Dad & Mum are gonna help you buy that second investment property in Waterloo once the housing commission flats finally get bulldozed. It's a fun age."

The party will kick off in Melbourne on 2 September before moving on to the other states until 19 November.
