Their first tour since ’97
Alternative folk-pop outfit Frente will reunite this May and June for a special anniversary tour to celebrate their seminal LP Marvin The Album.
The pairing of Simon Austin and Angie Hart, along with their other band members, achieved success in the early '90s on the wave of tracks such as Ordinary Angels, Labour Of Love and their take on New Order's Bizarre Love Triangle – the latter giving them overseas recognition and success, particularly in the US. The single charted on both the Billboard Modern Rock Chart and Billboard Hot 100 – peaking at 10 and 49 respectively.
Since the release of the award-winning Marvin The Album 21 years ago, the record has gone on to sell over a million copies and will be celebrated in style later this year with an extensive run of shows.
Austin and Hart, who founded the band back in the late '80s, will perform throughout the east coast, as well as Adelaide and Perth during the nine-show tour. Ticket and show info can be found below.

The duo will also be re-releasing the album as a two-disc set. The first disc will feature all of the tracks off the original plus a few bonus songs, while the second disc will be a combination of their Whirled and Clunk EPs and a few rarities. The collection will be out on Friday 16 May via Festival/Warner Music Australia.
The tour, Frente's first since 1997, is proudly presented by The Music.
