The first show of Sydney’s Taronga Zoo’s summer concert series Twilight At Taronga has sold out, with Bernard Fanning tickets now exhausted.
The run of shows from January to March next year, which shares a number of acts with Melbourne Zoo’s Twilight concerts, has made a concerted effort to attract a new generation of music lovers with a revitalised backroom staff and focus.
Tickets went on sale this morning, with Fanning’s show selling out in a matter of hours. The opening show of the series, he’ll be supported by Little May.
International guests including Belle & Sebastian, Conor Oberst, The Felice Brothers are also playing shows, as are local acts including You Am I, Something For Kate, Dan Sultan and Sarah Blasko.
