Twilight announced

The Melbourne Zoo have revealed an impressive roster for their Twilight concert series this year, with classic Australian artists mixing with the likes of Conor Oberst and The Village People.

Running from Friday 30 January to Saturday 7 March, local and international bands of all genres will grace the stage including James Reyne playing Australian Crawl, Bernard Fanning, Sarah Blasko, Paul Kelly performing his Merri Soul Sessions, Dan Sultan, Boys In The Band, The Budos Band, The Bombay Royale, Spiderbait, Conor Oberst, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, The Cat Empire and The Village People.

The diverse line up is an attempt to introduce the series to a new generation, as well as securing that their usual patrons return.

All tickets bought provide full access to the zoo, and proceeds go towards helping save the Eastern Barred Bandicoot, a species already extinct in the wild. General public tickets are on sale now via the event’s website.
