“When I sing these songs, I do go back and I have to immerse myself in that pain again."
The latest live offering from Jimmy Barnes sees the Aussie rock legend in fine form, belting out new hit I’m In A Bad Mood with infectious energy.
Premiering today via The Music, the live music video was recorded during the sold-out Red Hot Summer tour last year, prior to the release of his #1 album My Criminal Record in May and comes ahead of a massive headline tour of Australia this September.
Unsurprising, I’m In A Bad Mood is about rage, with Barnes noting: “When I sing these songs, I do go back and I have to immerse myself in that pain again. You can’t deliver a lyric without feeling it, but every time I do, I do let it go a bit.”
Barnes stopped by The Green Room with Neil Griffiths around the release of his latest album to chat Cold Chisel, dark days and what's next. Stream the full episode below or on Spotify now (don't forget to subscribe and review!).
