EXCLUSIVE: Reckoning Entertainment Rebrands As Shake Appeal

Company launches multimedia, creative writing and social networking divisions

Music management and publicity company Reckoning Entertainment has rebranded as Shake Appeal and widened its scope of industry services, theMusic.com.au can reveal.

As part of the re-launch the company will introduce multimedia, creative writing and social networking arms – in addition to its existing artists and event management, publicity, marketing and consulting services.

Today the company's Director Nik Tropiano told theMusic.com.au, “Personally I feel now is the greatest time in the music industry. Traditional methods are clearly not working. Because of this we have been given a total clean foundation to rebuild a stronger community.

“It's time to totally think left of centre and create new models to be truly relevant and I love that. Alissa [Cronau] and I have worked hard to implement this in our business structure. In the coming months we will be launching new ideas in the Shake Appeal brand.”

As well as Tropiano and Cronau, Jessica Searle will remain with the company.

Tim Sneddon comes on board to helm the multimedia functions, which includes music videos, EDMs and artwork, while Melissa Majdandzic will handle the creative writing. Catherine Tanswell joins the team to carry out social media functions.

Active for just under three years, Reckoning's clients have included festivals Fat As Butter, Come Together and Harbour Party NYE, as well as artists Regular John, The Presets, Shihad, Public Enemy, Crystal Castles and They Might Be Giants, amongst others. They have also relaunched their website.
