Band to tour indie record stores around country
South Australian rock band Bad//Dreems have signed to Ivy League records and will be hitting the road in support of a new single to celebrate.
Darlings of the Adelaide scene – and quickly becoming favourites of the national scene – Bad//Dreems write quintessentially Australian songs, with tales from the suburbs and the cities wrapped in ocker rock.
Having finalised negotiations earlier this year the band featured on Ivy League samplers that were handed out at SXSW this year. Part of the Mushroom Group of companies, the band are the label's first Adelaide signing and join a roster that also includes Cloud Control, The Rubens, Steve Smyth, Josh Pyke, Alpine and The Mess Hall.
To mark the occasion theMusic.com.au is premiering the band's new single Dumb Ideas – an ode to an ex. It was recorded with Mark Opitz, who's produced for AC/DC, Cold Chisel and INXS in the past.
